31 weeks of instructions from Sept until June
MHSB uniform (bodysuit and tights)
A Costume
A professional recording of the year end recital (Online streaming)
Upon registering you will have the option to choose 1 complete payment or 8 monthly payments. The tuition amounts shown below reflect the 8 payment option. Please refer to the 2021-2022 Fee Schedule for more details on fees and discounts.
Musical Theatre tells a story through dancing, singing and acting. It blends these three together and is sometimes referred to as the “Triple Threat”. This includes how to breathe and sing properly; a basic dance and movement vocabulary and developing stage acting techniques. Students will work on all elements with the goal of creating a group routine. Musical Theatre is an ideal way for the less experienced student to be introduced to dance. Previous numbers have included pieces from musicals such as Annie, Oliver, Wicked, Kiss Me Kate and Catch Me if You Can.
Levels Offered
All levels attend classes once per week
Junior Musical Theatre: 7 to 10 years of age
Inter Musical Theatre: 11 to 13 years of age
Senior Musical Theatre: 14 to 18 years of age
