safety arrival attendants

MHSB has developed a drop-off system at our two Yonge St. locations. Its purpose is to alleviate some of the stress of finding parking in the Yonge-Eglinton neighbourhood. The responsibility of our safety arrival attendants (s.a.a.’s) is to ensure that your child moves safely from our designated drop-off points to inside the MHSB doors. Your child may also wait with a s.a.a. after class until you come to collect them.

at the 2345 Yonge St. East Side location:

For the 2009-2010 dance season, a safety arrival attendant will be on duty during the following hours:

Mondays 4:00pm to 7:45pm beginning Monday, Sept. 14^th
Tuesdays 4:00pm to 7:45pm beginning Tuesday, Sept. 22^th
Wednesdays 4:00pm to 7:00pm beginning Wednesday, Sept. 23^rd
Thursdays 4:00pm to 7:00pm beginning Thursday, Sept. 24^th

After school, a safety arrival attendant will be located at the designated drop-off point where we anticipate parents will find it most convenient to drop-off and collect their children.

Please note that there will be no s.a.a.’s present on fridays and on the weekends; therefore, the only entrance for Friday, Saturday and Sunday classes will be from Yonge St.

Also note, there will no longer be a s.a.a. on duty at the back gate entrance. The gate will still be open, however if you wish a supervised drop off please use our designated drop off point at the front entrance of our 2345 Yonge St. East Side location.

Furthermore, the building is equipped with 24/7 surveillance in all areas leading to the MHSB doors. Building security personnel will also be present during the week in the evenings and during the day on the weekends.

at the 2384 Yonge St. West Side location:

For the 2009-2010 dance season, safety arrival attendants will be on duty during the following hours:

Mondays 4:00pm to 7:00pm beginning Monday, Sept. 14^th

At 2384 Yonge St. West Side a safety arrival attendant will be positioned at the Helendale Ave. entrance and will supervise student traffic within the stairwell.

The Helendale Ave. entrance is the designated drop-off point where drop-off and collection will be supervised by MHSB. Please note that there will be no s.a.a. present on fridays or on weekends.
