Class levels at MHSB are divided into three sub-schools: junior school, middle school, and senior school for the purpose of our end-of-year recitals.
Your child is in Junior School if he or she is enrolled in Pre-Ballet or Pre-Primary classes. Junior School Uniforms
Your child is in Middle School if he or she is enrolled in Primary 1, Primary 2, Pre Jazz, Jazz 1, or Pre-Hip Hop classes. Middle School Uniforms
Your child is in Senior School if he or she is enrolled in any class that does NOT include Pre-Ballet, Pre-Primary, Primary 1, Primary 2, Pre-Jazz, Jazz 1,
Pre-Hip Hop, or Pre-Tap classes. Senior School Uniforms

MHSB has a staggered start date depending on the day of the week and the school (junior school, middle school, and senior school) in
which your dancer(s) is associated.
MHSB has created a calendar so that parents can view the entire year’s schedule. See the MHSB Calendar on the important dates page.

MHSB handbook
In August of 2003 we first introduced the MHSB Handbook. Our handbook was created to provide a complete, comprehensive, and easy-to-read
outline of how the school operates and to help our students and their families keep their dance lives organized.
There is a section entitled Specific Details. This section includes a month by month breakdown of class changes and/or special events occurring
during that specific month.
The MHSB handbook is available on our website for viewing and printing. If you would like to print your a paper version, please contact the studio
and we can send you one at a cost of $7.
